This small chalet of the Casine di Braccicorti, was orginally a chesnut barn, where chesnuts were dried to then be taken to local mills to be ground into flour... Converetd in 2003 to a beautiful rustic chalet, of local stone design..

Braccicorti and the Casine have the highest Agriturismo rating of 5star or 3 Sprigs of corn !, It was one of the first Agriturismo here in the Garfagnana, and has set the standard for the others here in the area to follow. Food is prepared by the family who own the lodges, and all is tradtional and local cuisine > Angela is the main figure of Le Casine di Braccicorti with her son Zaccary and Partner Rupert helping out, cooking your excellent meals, local grappa after dinner, teaching you Italian, what more can one want..!. The family atmosphere makes it a perfect place to stay, relaxing and a place you feel you can always come back too, time and time again.

Accomodation is in separate self contained Rustic Chalets or a limited number of en suite double rooms
One can self cater or opt for meals
You do not have to do any tours with Garfagnana Adv to stay with us... but we can guide you in the right direction !!

The Casine Holiday Lodges

The Casine ( small lodges ) of Agriturismo Braccicorti :

The Casine, or small houses / chalets are converted old outhouses of the farm, chesnut barns, old farm shed and the main centre Villa Capanna Battista. The lodges are perfect for self catering weeks for families, with kitchens and other facilties. One can also use Braccicorti & Battista for meals, such a Breakfast, packed lunches & dinners during your stay. The Casine lodges in are due north of the Braccicorti main centre, see maps. One can use the Golf course while here, green fees apply, hire bikes and kayaks, as well use of seasonal swimming pool. Self guided tours can be done or we can provide guides also.

The Casine at Max has space for upto 16 people at any one time, so is perfect for private groups and tours. This centre is used for some Exodus Mountain biking tours as well is Explore Walking Trips.
