Bike Tours in Garfagnana & Tuscany...well With 2 mountain
ranges of the Apennines and Alpi Apuane, open hillsides,
meadows and villages, old mule tracks, drovers roads and

| Garfagana
is little known for its trekking. But with peaks over
2000m and 2 mountain ranges, it could not get any
better. With the Appennines and Alpi Apuane we have a
varied and inspiring selction of trails. From the low
valley and ancient medieval villages, to high peaks
& ridges and via ferrata. We have in Garfagnana, the
highest peak in Tuscany, Monte Prado 2054m.
Treks are
varied and can be adjusted for all levels of walks &
abilities.

| The
Garfagnana is an area more adapted to kayaking than most. Good
rainfall leads to glorious Mountain lakes, with the forests and
mountain peaks reflected in their waters, giving one a perfect
chance to be part of nature. Our Kayaks are free to use for
Braccicorti Guests at Pontecosi Lake. Or otherwise a charge applies,

| In
Winter, when it is cold and the mountain are covered with snow, the
Garfagnana seems to be even more intimate and isolated. During this
period one can practice cross country skiing
and downhill skiing at various locations
in the Apennines along with some in the Apuan Alps. In our Lodge we
have the opportunity to take you snow
shoeing, walking in the fresh snow, following the
footprints of the local wildlife.

Cycling takes us on an amazing network of minor roads in the
Garfagnana and Southern Tuscany, where we have routes from
easy to challenging days. Be it short or long distance,
Tuscany is perfect for road riding. Tours available : self

the support of the close riding-school
in Castiglione, you can choose to have a
relaxing horse trekking along the known
Garfagnana horse-tracks. The beginners can
mount a horse for the first time thanks to the
Sergio, a patient and expert teacher.
