We are a local family run Garfagnana Operation. Specializing in tours in the Garfagnana and all over Tuscany & Italy, be it biking or walking or special request tours, such as art, photopgraphy and more !! what ever you want to do.. we will try our best to ogranise.!

We offer tours for families and individuals or full tour proposals for groups, be it private or to Tour Operators of which we have many years of experience. We have our own tour buses, hire bikes and trailers, and have more than 10 years of tour operation behind us. Over 20 mountain bikes, 15 road bikes and kayaks plus off course trained guides !

Not only do we offer tours, we run our own Agriturismo Le Casine di Braccicorti in Garfagnana. Priding ourselves on levels of hospitality, quality of meals using our own production with rooms for upto 16 people, and catering on site for all meals. swimming pool, bike and kayak hire also..

Garfagnana Adventures LTD

The company is run by Rupert Yates-Bell, who after a many years of travelling the world and tour leading with major UK operators,, found the Garfagnana in 1998, he fell in love with the mountains, the location, loved the people and culture, & so... has since stayed on in Garfagnana, making his home here in the Serchio Valley in the Northern area of Tuscany.

Building up from scratch Garfagnana Adventures in 2001 & a new Agriturismo, le casine di Braccicorti, aside from Braccicorti he and Angela have developed a new centre base in the Garfagnana for tours. Rupert has a passion for the outdoors, be it mountain biking serious singletrack, or easy valley rides, to trekking up the main peaks or discovering new trails in the valley. Always ready for a new adventures and an excuse to get out guiding !. Rupert is backed up in the Guiding for Tours by his 4 year old son Zaccary, who is full of energy and spirit ! and sure to follow in the adventure travel market !!!

With now many years of operation past and a great number of people who have experienced Tuscany and especially the Garfagnana. In 2007 Garfagnana Adv has scheduled over 40 tours with proposed & sold via UK tour operators such as Exodus, Explore & KE Adventures, plus private tours and individual day trips that run throughout the year.

The Giovannetti family of Braccicorti & Garfagnana Adv.

The Giovannetti Family have an active role in assisting the company Garfagnana Adventures. They have been running their Agriturismo lodge at Braccicorti for many years (96') along with Bruno Giovannetti & his tour guiding expertise, work in the past years for the National Park of the Alpi Apuane and The Orecchiella. Plus many an expedition, via up Everest !!

We are a company that prides itelf on a personal and expert approach on all levels, of the tours and service that we offer.

After many year of travelling the globe and running and guiding tours. Our experiences in leading and travelling has given us valuable experience and understanding, one that without doubt helps and aids us in our work as Garfagnana Adevntures.

Our exploits between us have taken us round the world on many expeditions. Many to the Himalaya to summit peaks & experience new cultures, along with the Andes & Peru with association with OMG charity., the African Bush in the Kalahari and Namib desert to exploration of Central America and the old civilisations of the Maya and Aztec’s. Along with many years tour leading on our home ground here in the Garfagnana, which gives us a level of expertise and knowledge of the area that is hard to beat.
