From Braccicorti we ride up via Castiglione and its fortified medieval walls to Casone at 1314m and the main pass of the Passo Radici on one of the main routes traversing the mountains to Modena. Here high up on the Appennines we have great views all around us especially from the spur with the village of San Pellegrino. Here we visit the church with 2 mumified bodies of saints in !!(Bianco & Pellegrino). From here we descend the road that the Giro D’Italia climbed on towards Chiozza and then onto Pieve Fosciana at the base of the descent. Option to go to Castelnouvo or return to Braccicorti. One can do it backwards for the chance to to a climb that was in the Giro D'Italia.
